Brazos Valley Vuvuzela Atheist Marching Band?

My sincere apologies for the poor nature of the video here. It was taken with my Droid, and I had the sun straight into the lens, so I had to hide behind a tree to get the shade. I’m very interested to hear what people think about public statements like this from atheists. No-one is arguing that they shouldn’t be allowed to march in Christmas parades, but I’m asking if they made a good choice in doing so. It was a beautiful day for a parade. It was cool, crisp and sunny. Besides the 20 minutes of tractors, harvesters, combines and the like, there were a few churches with “Reason for the Season” type floats, a few religious private schools, and two Christian motorcycle groups. Lots of fire trucks, people on horses, and public school groups. We also have a lot of Hispanic-themed groups, like Fiestas Patrias, which makes perfect sense for a community that is 27% Hispanic.
