www.wcptv.biz Title of Video: Golden Eagles Marching Bands Drumline Cadeance, Edinburgh Tattoo 2008 July Performance I made this video in 2008 while reading about a Scottish press event for the British 2008 Edinburgh Tattoo. I feel that this video marks the end of my 2007/08 event run of making videos and I ended up spending more time on my college HND so stopped making so many for that reason and also because I was becoming frustrated with the low quality of my Hi8 camera not to mention having no funding to cover the filming and my time. I enjoy filming college student music which brought me to film this event. Produced by Alan Taylor Format: Hi8 Canon Uci8 Length: 09:36 The Golden Eagles Southeast Missouri State University Marching Band has been playing since 1957 and has played to thousands of spectators throughout the United States and abroad. The USC Marching Band have played at national football league games, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. They have also performed for two NFL Pro Bowl football games and a few super bowls. It’s a Southern University Band. The band is known for being one of the most televised university marching bands in the US. In 2008, they arrived in Edinburgh, Scotland to perform at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo becoming only the second marching band ever invited to the event showcasing the students music. LD Bell High School Marching Band “Transcendents” 2007
LD Bell’s 2007 show. The most magical and beautiful show I’ve ever seen. This show is a follow up to their 2005 and 2006 shows. Their 2005 show, “Ascension: Light of Gold” was about those who ascend to the after life after death. Their 2006 show, “The Remaining”, was about those who have died and haven’t transcended, leaving them on Earth as the remaining. This show was about the little girl, who’s based on Ofelia from Pan’s Labyrinth, who finally transcends to the afterlife after remaining. She’s just a spirit of a child.
