2011 Hickman County Marching band contest in Centerville, TN on September 17, 2011. The THS band performed CONTAGION, winning the overall Sweepstakes trophy for having the best overall performance of the18 bands in the contest. Congratulations to all the the THS band members, Band Directors Greg English and Justin Scott, and to all of the band volunteers and parents.

cf.wcu.edu Bandfest: www.youtube.com Bandfest Pass & Review: www.youtube.com From Cullowhee, NC, The Western Carolina University’s Pride of the Mountains Marching Band marching down Colorado Blvd. in the 122nd Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on Saturday, January 1st 2011. 2011 makes this band’s first appearance at this event. Known for performing a medley of upbeat pop tunes, the band incorporates electric guitars, singers, and other musical elements not typically associated with marching bands. The unit, whose membership today stands at more than 380 strong, was the 2009 recipient of the prestigious Sudler Trophy, the nation’s highest and most coveted award for college and university marching bands.

All-Birdville HS Marching Band – 2011 Pasadena Rose Parade

Representing Haltom City, TX, 2011 marks the first time 3 high schools come together to form one inclusive group – the All-Birdville Marching Band as they march down Colorado Blvd. in the 122nd Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on Saturday, January 1st 2011. This group consists of 500 members from Richland High School, Haltom High School and Birdville High School bands. All 3 bands have been finalists in the UIL Texas State Marching Contest and the BOA National Marching Contests.
