@TheDragonmaster18 ok, a few things. 1.) college marching (at least at MSU) came into existence before football and was comprised of civil war veterans hence the military style. This tradition continued until today. So DCI didn’t change anything. College band (real ones) ARE meant to be all about being serious and perfect 2.) People want a band with skill, MSU has more of it than most bands- this makes them entertaining. 3.) do your research and don’t talk about what you don’t understand.
@K3V1NMSU i have done my research and the research i have found says nothing about michigan state. and people of today do not want to see a band that just stands there playing music. they want entertainment which is what HBCU’s do best. and in fact HBCU bands have been around longer that college football as well. some of their roots come from the malitary the only thing they changed was the dancing which didnt happen until 1946.
@TheDragonmaster18 Who said anything about HCBU bands? Thats like apples and oranges. Control your A.D.D. and stick to the topic. Just google MSU spartan band and click the first link, then click histroy, that’ll give you all you need to know. (you must suck at research cause that took me all of a min.) And i don’t know if you’re deaf or what, but that crowd seemed pretty entertained to me. And MSU doesn’t just stand there, but it’s not your fault you didn’t know that. (you suck at research)

@K3V1NMSU i do not suck at research. since i was looking up HBCU bands and their history& that is all i found. as well as some stuff about University of Michigan since that is where the HBCU’s get their style from.
Regardless of the camera movement, I still got out of this video what I wanted to see, and that was a huge marching band doing the thriller. This video rocked!
some people need to stop being so immature and just enjoy the performance. there is no need to make rude comments or fight over a youtube video. if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. if you do like it, wonderful…watch it again.
color guard please do more than drop spins and flutters and carves, im in highschool and my parade routine was way more complex than that it degrates the guard, plz do more than the basics…

De pere Wisconsin city council is trying to ban state police cleared law abiding handgun carrying people from taking guns in public places of the city. When are they going to see that this won’t criminals from bringing guns to these places ? please see the racist roots of gun control on my channel for explaining why banning guns from government buildings and parks doesn’t make sense
ok I like the band but Im a flutiest and a colorguard girl and I defnatly didnt enjoy the guard….
maybe the cebu dancing inmates will morph into a marching band someday…talk of wishful thinking,lmao!
the “and no one’s going to save you from the beast about to strike” was horrible -_- can barely hear it and the notes i DID hear sounded wrong

@genericperson1 perfect shadow lines are made from perfect marching lines, as expected in any good marching band ^_^ (i am not from mich, i am from ill, but i have been in marching band as a colorguard member
